Psychology can teach us a lot in AI, but it's a cat and mouse game

Most people focus on one aspect of AI, the prediction side of things. But why do humans make the decisions that they do? Shouldn't we learn that before trying to teach a computer how to think? Take conformity, for example, we start to conform around 30% more when there are 3 people to conform to compared to 2. There are so many lessons and studies we can learn from in psychology that we can implement to better reflect true humans. We need to know why we as humans make the decisions we make. But wait, do we even make those decisions ourselves? How does AI now influence our decisions, how is AI impacting our psychology, the cat and mouse game begins.

Get started with Azure Machine Learning Studio

Currently, the Machine Learning Studio is in preview, so I will be giving an introduction into how you can use the new Azure Machine Learning Studio to run train models, evaluate and deploy them without needing any experience in machine learning at all! This will be great for those who are into the analytical side of things but want a high-level approach to using machine learning and have no experience coding!

Why scaling out is important

We mostly won't get a real sense of why scaling up is so important until the moment is down. Azure is obviously a go to when it comes to leveraging a PAAS in hosting web applications. The various plans including the testing plan hosted our first 2,000 to users with no stress and the only amount we paid for the 4months duration was $30. All seemed very well until our number jumped from 2,000 users to 18, 000 and from that 32,000 users. This numbers thought my team and I the important of scaling up. Join me in this session and let's talk about why and when to scale out.
