Using Azure Policies to control yourAzure environment

Have you wanted to control or check what your users do in Azure?

Maybe stop them from creating resources in the wrong data centre, or force them to create tags on new resources,
Or audit your VMs for weak passwords, check that your VMs have a Azure backup enabled, that all your Azure SQL have TDE enabled, even check if your SQL has a public IP address and then disable it

Azure Policy allows you to enforce and control the properties of a resource. We can use policies to apply different rules to different resources, so that they stay compliant to your IT standards

Join me as we take a gentle look at what we can do with policies to control our Azure environment
